The weekend of August 6th-8th was nothing short of good food, fun, and fellowship as the Greeks of the Mississippi Delta collaborated for another #UnityInTheCommunity Weekend! Saturday’s community barbeque was the highlight of the event as the participating organizations fed the community while representing their Fraternity/Sorority letters and colors. As usual, the brothers of the Premier Epsilon Xi Lambda Chapter made it known that they still “transcend all” and made sure the children didn’t leave empty-handed as they were given free items to use while swimming and other trinkets. Sunday culminated the weekend as a word of inspiration on the need and importance of unity was given from Pastor Thomas Morris, Sr. (member, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.) of the Greater Hines Street Baptist Church.
