Today, Mr. Terrell Pernell, a Moorehead, MS native and Mississippi Delta Community College scholar, was recognized as being the first recipient of the Bro. Dr. Tyrone Jackson Presidential Scholarship. Brothers Edward Hill, Tracy Mims and Charles Hardy attended a scholarship luncheon that was coordinated by Bro. Oliver Manuel (MDCC Food Service Director), Mr. Jim Aycock (MDCC Foundation Executive Director) and other staff of the community college.
